Beard Grooming Tips:
Patience is key!
An awesome beard is the end result of a 4-6 weeks journey with self-restraint. When you first start growing, resist all urges to style or trim! This will give your beard the time to grow in evenly, and help you pick a style that suits its length and thickness.
Shaping your beard to your face
After the first 5 weeks of growth, check out our chart and choose a style that looks best for your face shape. Your beard will look better, and so will you.
When To Trim
Pruning is the key to a well-groomed beard—even if you have plans on growing it out. Invest in a quality trimmer, and find the right technique to suit your beard. Pruning will leave your beard from unmanageable to healthy and desirable!
Wash It Regularly
This is extremely important! Especially in the early stages of growth, when trapped food, ingrown hairs and skin cells can aggravate the itchiness. Scrub your beard several times each week with a specialized cleanser, like our Beard Shampoo and Beard Conditioner, then gently pat it dry: An excessive amount of toweling can leave you with frizz and split ends.
Love Thy Beard Oil
Nothing tames a beard like regular use of beard oil. Beard Oil will condition hairs to make them softer and shinier. We recommend the favored Art of 360 Wabes Beard Conditioning Oil! Apply it when beard is damp to optimize the softness of your beard.
Learn to Train Your Beard
A regular trim will maintain your beard shape, but there are other ways to keep your beard in line. A daily rubdown with a comb or beard brush will tame unmanageable hairs, training them to grow in a downward direction. Pair the combing/brushing with our organic soft-hold styler, like Art of 360 Waves Beard Enhancing Cream, which offers extra sculpting power and tames any flyways.
